Forestry Inspector with the Forest Service, Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, currently working in the Promotions and Communications Section of the Forestry Division. I have a strong background across operational, environmental, and regulatory forestry. I previously worked in the Environment Section of the Forest Service, specialising in the assessment and delivery of forest road and forest road licensing outputs. I then served as a District Inspector in Co. Clare, managing the full range of forestry licence applications, including afforestation, felling, forest roads, woodland improvement, and reconstitution schemes. Earlier in my career, I worked as a Forest Manager with Euroforest Ireland, leading timber harvesting operations and managing timber marketing, felling licence, and forest road applications across Leinster and the Midlands. I bring proven experience in delivering licensing outputs, environmental compliance, stakeholder engagement, and operational forestry solutions. Skilled in ArcGIS, Microsoft Office, and research, I am committed to promoting sustainable forest management and strengthening communication and engagement across the sector.
