About Corwin Cantin

If there's one thing I've learned in my decade of media production, it's to never underestimate the power of character. Characters inspire us, challenge our ideals, reinforce or morality, and open us to change and growth. This led me on my pursuit in the industry. Beginning with film theory, moving onto film production, and quickly moving into narrative-driven video games, I've integrated in the realm of storytelling in hopes I could help create these connections that people feel so strongly. In my tenure, I've strived for two goals. One, I aim to maintain a healthy working environment and culture for my teammates. The end does not justify the means if we lose ourselves in the process. In the creative field, passion drives many to achieve the best product possible. This proves dangerously prone to being taken advantage of. As such, I work vigilantly to provide resources and tools for cohorts to see success in their visions, allowing them the grace to choose the best path forward instead of forcing it upon them. My second goal: Challenge myself to become the best colleague and person possible. We all have room to grow and evolve in different ways. Every single person is different, meaning different team compositions will have differing needs. Adaptability and openness have been two of my biggest strengths, granting me the space to pivot flexibly and with enthusiasm in whatever production I'm a part of. This has made me an asset in ways I never envisioned when I began my journey in this industry. If ever you look for a teammate who brings a fun and levity to production and efficiency, I'd be enthused to talk about the opportunity. Collaborative creativity is improvisation. The more you "yes and," the better the product, but more importantly, the better the conditions in which we craft.
