More than 15 years of experience on rotating equipment, with a strong focus on reciprocating compressors. Presently Leader of service department, specialized in revamping, upgrades, troubleshooting, RCA and field support, with also business development duties. Expert in problem solving related to vibration, acoustic and fatigue of piping, components and structures. The following list represent a description of the main skills and expertise acquired during my career.• Application engineering, with cross functional support for developing proposals and feasibility studies to match customer needs, comprising equipment and material selection, cost calculation and delivery terms. Recently with a focus on new applications in the field of Hydrogen and the related environment.• Project engineering for brown field jobs, revamping and field support for compressor systems. • System engineering of compression units mainly used in Oil & gas and petrochemical fields. Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P & ID), Process flow diagram (PFD) and Heat and Material Balance preparation.• Development of solutions for the modernization, upgrading and problem solving of rotating equipment.• More than 10 years experience in diagnostics of reciprocating compressors focused on failure prevention and maintenance optimization. Contribution to the creation of a diagnostic system for reciprocating compressors.• Development of mathematical models, utilities and programs for the best selection of components and equipment according to process gas, environment and operating conditions.• Several (10+) experiences as instructor in courses on reciprocating compressors, including thermodynamic, maintenance, vibrations, pulsations, troubleshooting, mechanical parts and auxiliary systems.• Familiar with international codes as API standards (520, 521, 617, 618, 619, 674, 688), ATEX, ANSI / ASME. • American Society of Mechanical Engineers Member and session developer for Pulsation and Vibration session in ASME Pressure Vessels & Piping conferences.
