About Craig Allison

I have wandered around for a long time. I once worked in Child Protective Services for the State of Tennessee and I saw horrible things done to children. I played around for a while in a recording studio in Nashville. I fell in love, got married and had 3 awesome kids, in exactly that order. I finally got a real job in the safety industry in Chattanooga. For a long time I tried my best to keep people from accidentally hurting or killing themselves at work, all the while ignoring a door that God kept showing me. Thought my way was better. I was wrong. One day I decided to walk through that door and I've never been happier. Took me a while, but with God's help I finally found where I was supposed to be. I now work as a campus minister at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga where I have the great joy of teaching Christ to some of the most amazing people I have ever met. I suppose it would be fair to say that I just upgraded my position. Before, it was my job to keep people's physical bodies from harm. Now it's their spiritual bodies that concern me most.
