With over 18 years hands-on experience in the video game industry as an embedded quality assurance (QA) tester, QA Lead, Live Producer/Release Manager, Development Manager and Development Director; Curtis Nickerson has a solid track record as a team leader on high profile games for Sony PlayStation, Microsoft Xbox consoles, Apple and Android mobile platforms. He has managed teams responsible for bug finding, issue entry, pre-integration testing of assets, and tracking and verifying development milestones. He has created and managed test plans and test cases, and trained and managed junior testers on his team. As audio is located in every aspect of a game title, he has tested online multiplayer games, progression and story modes, and interface menus. An audio specialist, Curtis has also completed several junior audio artist tasks such as speech sample editing, speech database management and sound effects importation for various development teams.
