About Daisy Pyman

Psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, researcher, and advocate supporting individuals, couples, and vulnerable populations across private practice and nonprofit settings. Bringing depth, dedication, and discernment to create care that cultivates connection, competence, and constructive change—for clients and clinicians alike. I began on the other side of the therapy room as a service user. That lived experience fuels my mission to create spaces where people feel safe, seen, and empowered. Today, I help individuals and couples move from survival mode to conscious choice through psychodynamic, relational, and trauma-informed care. My research explores the safe and ethical use of therapist self-disclosure, and the complex role of social media in therapy, raising questions of trust, informed consent, multiple relationships, and professional responsibility in a space where clear guidelines are still lacking. Together, these strands ground my work: therapy that is relational, ethical, and responsive to the realities of our time.
