I’m a seasoned pharmaceutical leader with 15+ years of experience driving strategic growth, innovation, and access to life-saving therapies across the Middle East and North Africa. I currently serve as Business Unit Manager – Oncology & Hematology at Janssen (Johnson & Johnson), leading operations across Egypt, Libya, Sudan, and Jordan, with a clear mission: delivering cutting-edge cancer therapies to patients who need them most. Throughout my career, I’ve successfully led the launch and market expansion of transformational treatments, including Keytruda at MSD—redefining cancer care across multiple tumor types—and Darzalex at Janssen, reshaping the treatment landscape for multiple myeloma. Before joining Janssen, I spent over a decade at MSD, holding leadership roles including Franchise Manager – Ophthalmology, Franchise Manager – Oncology, and Market Access & Governmental Affairs Lead. This diverse portfolio gave me strong expertise in policy shaping, public-private partnerships, and driving access strategies that align patient needs with healthcare system realities. In every role, I’ve prioritized people development, mentoring future leaders and fostering high-performing, cross-functional teams. I’ve also led complex regional projects involving multi-country coordination, stakeholder alignment, and high-impact execution—especially in challenging or fast-evolving healthcare environments. Fluent in English and French (in addition to Arabic), I bring a multicultural, agile leadership approach that thrives in diverse, dynamic settings. My goal is always to build sustainable access to innovation, deliver strong business results, and create value for patients, partners, and systems alike.
