Background
About Dalton King
I have worked in public education for 9 years, 5 of which have been in the classroom. Previously, I was the Director of Bands for Piedmont Public Schools where I directed and managed the overall program of instrumental music for the district. I provided students with an opportunity to participate in extracurricular band activities and ensure compliance with all state, Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association (OSSAA), and district requirements. Not only did I create an outlet for students to develop and expand their musical talents, but I also created a space of inclusion and family both for my students and myself to feel welcome and to be 100% authentically ourselves. I am new to Denver and when I’m not on the job, I love going to shows, seeing what new things Colorado has to offer, and petting all the neighborhood dogs. If you’d like to learn more about how my services can help your company, please reach out via email (dwlking7@gmail.com).
