About Dan Jeffers

My career as an educator has given me the necessary experience to be successful in a variety of roles. Eight years in the classroom provided me with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully navigate and lead students in their learning. It keeps me grounded knowing ‘who’ and ‘why’ I chose education. Seven years of experience in building administration has given me the leadership skills necessary to organize, prioritize, and empathize with students, their families and fellow educators. I have a better understanding of the bigger picture from a building perspective and have learned the important skills needed to pull a group of people together. Eight years in the Curriculum department of a district has allowed me a systems view and the opportunity to positively affect students, teachers, and administrators alike. Maximizing a budget and practicing fiscal responsibility make me an excellent financial planner. Moving a large system the size of my current district is a major undertaking and takes a unified effort and time. This experience has equipped me to be successful in all levels of planning and implementation.
