Designer/Architect and Developer of web sites and computer software. Specialities: ASP.NET/C#, nodeJS, SQL Server, C/C++, HTML, Typescript/JavaScript, Microsoft Azure, AWS Experience: Docker, Microservices, MySQL, PostgreSQL In my career, I have designed award winning products for the Amiga (Wordworth, Datastore) and PC (Taxability Pro, Digiguide); product managed and designed for Microsoft (UK versions of MS Money and MS TaxSaver), co-founded a successful startup and have designed and written numerous web sites. I have also worked closely with Swansea University PHD students and Professor Tucker on Usability research in the 90’s; bringing this relatively new concept into product design improvements. I work well under pressure; and can multi-task across disciplines (coding, design, management). Working to keep a project on-track and ensure the important things aren’t missed and team members are utilised appropriate to their knowledge, experience and ability, but most importantly that they are not blocked by external factors. My main love, is working on a ‘product’; something, be-it PC app or SaaS web app, either B2B or B2C, that people can ‘use’ as I have a strong ability to empathize with a customer or end-user and can translate this into a great product experience.
