I’m a Data Protection Specialist who designs and delivers end-to-end backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery solutions—on-premises and in the cloud—with an eye for performance, security, and cost optimization. What I do: Architect and implement enterprise backup/recovery (Commvault/Hyperscale, Veeam, Metallic, Azure Native), from initial design and setup through monitoring, performance tuning, and strategic recommendations. Develop/Upgrade and execute DR plans and runbooks across Windows, Linux, and major databases (MSSQL, Oracle/RAC, PostgreSQL, MySQL), plus Exchange, SharePoint, Office 365, and Salesforce, etc. Troubleshoot complex break/fix scenarios across compute, hypervisor, on-premises and cloud, network/firewall environments—delivering clear “how-to” guidance to teams and customers. Provision and configure Windows and Linux servers, perform OS patching/security updates, and resolve server-level issues. Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Qumulo storage solutions. How I add value: Automate monitoring, alerting, and reporting with Python/PowerShell/PostgreSQL/API scripts and dashboards (Elastic Stack, Grafana). Harden security, perform cost analyses, and continually tune for efficiency. Drive observability and scale through container deployments, Ansible playbooks, and REST-API integrations (on-premises, cloud, and AI).
