About Daniel C.

I'm currently pursuing a degree in Audiovisual Production at UNIPAR EAD and specializing in Sound Design at EBAC. My fascination with audio began when I produced and composed my first phonographic/music piece with @pensoativo, a Brazilian band. Some years back, I had the unique opportunity to witness the audio editing process for Multishow by Ernesto Sena, in his personal studio. During that time, I even recorded a few tracks for PensoAtivo. Observing this magic up close ignited my passion, prompting me to seek formal education in the audiovisual domain with a specific focus on sound. Earlier in my career, I worked as a bilingual hotel receptionist for five years. I had the privilege of serving in prestigious establishments like Novotel Leme and Mercure Copacabana. One of my most challenging endeavors was the reopening of two hotels that had been closed for years. This role not only honed my English and Spanish but also refined my communication skills, particularly given the myriad challenges intrinsic to the hospitality industry. With my background training as a Sound Operator from SENAI, I always harbored a dream to work in the audio field. A recommendation from a colleague led me to MGE Studios as a Technical Audio Operator, prompting me to transition from the hospitality sector. This role provided me my initial exposure to recording with Brazilian dubbing professionals. I adapted swiftly, perhaps due to my previous experience in the demanding hotel industry. At MGE Studios, I explored various career paths in audio, such as Mixer, Editor, Sound Designer, and more. A few months later, I joined All Dubbing Studios, handling their dubbing recordings. The position in Copacabana was a logistical advantage, being closer to my residence. Who would've thought I could pursue my audio passion and remain close to home? I was with them for 11 months and am now exploring new opportunities. My tenure at AllDubbing catalyzed my decision to further my education. I subsequently embarked on my degree in Audiovisual Production and specialization in Sound Design.
