About Daniel Claassen

With a strong educational foundation in Applied Mathematics and Data Science, combined with hands-on experience in both education and data analytics, I am a well-rounded professional with a passion for solving complex problems. I hold a Bachelors of Science with First Class Honours in the field and have put my knowledge into practice in my roles at Elevate Education and 4CDA. As a seminar presenter at Elevate Education, I have developed exceptional communication and leadership skills, delivering high school study-skills seminars to large audiences of students. During my internship at 4CDA, I gained practical experience in event detection in maintenance-based time series data, working with a team of experts in the field. I am now eager to further my education and knowledge through a PhD in Statistical Physics in collaboration with TIDE (Transforming Infrastructure through Digital Engineering), where I will investigate undersea pipeline structural mechanics. My ultimate goal is to use my skills and experience to contribute to cutting-edge research and drive positive change in the field. In my free time, I enjoy staying active, reading and exploring new technologies.
