About Daniel Cohen

Daniel’s insights into the end-to-end product development process enables him to apply design and engineering perspectives simultaneously to solve problems, and to work effectively with colleagues and clients from varying disciplines. His flexible skill set has aided Daniel to take initial conceptual research and designs through to manufacturing and implementation on several global FMCG, medical and SME clients whilst working as a product design engineer. His solutions are founded on functionality whilst centering the user and their interactions across all aspects of the design. Through developing designs for users in varying demographics and cognitive abilities, Daniel aims to improve the quality of a user’s life. His analytical and logical approach to decision making has helped to ensure that the outputs are thoroughly thought out against the user’s product interaction journey. Working on projects in spaces such as healthcare, packaging, manufacturing and education has made Daniel capable of working in highly regulated client spaces and adhere to ISO regulations and medical standards affiliated to different products. Daniel has brought value to client projects across a product’s development life cycle from early-stage R&D, conducting interviews, user journeys and developing concepts in digital and physical, through to collaborating with mechanical engineers to produce CAD drawings and specifications used to manufacture industrial product tooling.
