About Daniel Dedic

Hi, I'm Daniel Dedic. I'm a Computer Science major at University of Illinois at Chicago. My concentration for study is for Software Engineering. For the past 7 years, I've had a great interest in software development & programming, and I've always loved to express it through learning, personal projects, and beyond. Recently, I've worked as an intern at UIC - at the Marcell Lab - as a Software Developer for developing an health tracker app for iOS and Apple Watches. The purpose of the app was collecting heartrate and motion data, in order to be used as a research tool in biology research. I learned to use tools such as XCode and languages such as Swift to develop the application, and learned skills for using Google's Real Time Database for data collection. Now, I'm looking for the next step in my career that can bring the skills and knowledge I've learned over these past years, to apply them in the field of software engineering and software development.
