About Daniel Joubert

Daniel is an experienced project manager and technical designer with experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams, a keen eye for detail and exceptional interpersonal skills. He has over 25 years’ experience in the management, design and review of complex and large projects in the building, transportation and sporting sectors both in the UK and abroad. Daniel has a proven track record at delivering complex consultancy assignments as well as managing design assurance and project risks which has allowed him to become a specialist in the management of technical projects. Daniel was responsible for the Non-Competition related events, within the FIFA 2022 Qatar World cup – Project Management, Planning and review the role was to the integrate of events and planned infrastructure development within Qatar, also responsible for Metro station reviews and feeder transport routing. His role included managing and contributing to multidisciplinary teams involved in selecting suitable and sustainable Stadium sites.He joined Arup in 2010 to work on the Johannesburg BRT this included BRT station identifying key station positions to handle peak flows to the FNB Stadium (Johannesburg) for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the Moses Mabida Stadium (Durban) precinct. During and after the 2010 World Cup, Daniel was Project Architect for the concept, client liaison and the subsequent on-site delivery of 10ha, 270 bus Depot. From 2007 to 2009 he worked with Yamasaki International in Dubai on the ADNOC tower in Abu Dhabi, Masdar, Abu Dhabi, Energy City Doha Office building and the Qatar Convention Centre. In the time from 2003-2007 Daniel was design manager at leading Housing Developer in UK. Daniel is experienced Design/ Technical/ Project Management and on-site implementation of a wide range of projects.
