About Daniel Kupres

I have spent roughly 20 years in the Customer Service field with approximately 15 of those years in the beauty industry. The first 12 years I was an accomplished Hair Stylist. I really enjoyed being behind the chair but loved when I was able to be involved with the education of future hair stylists. However, in the latter part of my time behind the chair, I discovered I was not in love with what I was doing and knew it was time to make a change. I began my journey of to further my education by pursuing a Master's Degree in Accounting & Finance, while I took on a new position as an Assistant General Manager at Jeffrey LaMorte Salon & Spa. The transition from behind the chair to management was not as seamless as I thought it would be but I thrive when challenged and was not only able to garner respect from the staff but from the patrons also. Be it an employee or customer, they knew that I had their best interests in mind and that "my door" was always open. My attitude to tackle new challenges carried over into my education as well. Entering a field with no background is challenging enough but I did so at the graduate level and was able to excel and graduate with honors.
