As a director of AKA Music Pty Ltd, and Founder of AKA Acoustics Pty Ltd, Daniel's obsession with sound and passion for growth through innovation has allowed him to develop ongoing business partnerships and research opportunities with some of the world's most renowned technical institutions, manufacturers, and creative personnel worldwide. A lateral thinker with a proven ability to solve complex business problems, develop and lead projects, communicate powerfully, and motivate at all levels of an organisation, Daniel's unique and dynamic solutions-based approach has presented niche opportunities in the industries of music production, architectural design & planning, media systems engineering and pro audio distribution. Daniel’s academic achievements include a Master of Architectural Science (Audio & Acoustics) from The University of Sydney, and a Certificate in Communication Acoustics & Psychoacoustics from RWTH Aachen University, Germany. In 2020, Daniel was awarded the Australian Institute of Building NSW Chapter Presidents Award for his research contributions to the industry. Daniel is a Member of the Australian Acoustical Society, an Affiliate of Engineering Australia, and a chairperson of the Sydney Section of the Audio Engineering Society (AES), listed under their directory of members in Acoustics, Psychoacoustics, Architectural Acoustics & Musical Acoustics.
