Background
About Daniel Tanguay
Current: Software Engineer for Paychex, Inc, an industry leading Human Capital Management company. We are focused on empowering our clients with the power of simplicity for all of their Payroll, Benefits, HR and Insurance needs. I specialize in software development for payroll, taxes, electronic filing, ACH and interfaces with 3rd party vendors for 401k, general ledger, worker's compensation, time clocks and HR. Proficient in COBOL, Java, C#, JavaScript, JQuery, VB, Bash and Korn scripting. Currently working on our next generation tax application, converting it from COBOL to Java. Prior to software development I held positions as a payroll tax compliance analyst and software test engineer. Prior: Owner/Vintner Tanguay & Son Winery, LLC. Owned and operated a small boutique winery, running all aspects of the business from bottling to sales, vintner to tax filing. Sold the winery to concentrate on my software development career with Paychex.
