I work in export compliance, but a big part of my job is investigative. I track down shady end-use cases, analyze customer profiles, flag unusual patterns, and make sure restricted tech doesn’t end up where it shouldn’t. Whether it’s digging through corporate registrations, interpreting sanctions risks, or spotting inconsistencies in shipping docs, I enjoy the detective work behind the scenes. I’ve developed a sharp eye for compliance risk — especially in aerospace, defense, and dual-use exports — and I’m always thinking a few steps ahead. I’m curious by nature, detail-obsessed, and wired to ask “why?” until the story makes sense. I’m open to opportunities that blend research, risk analysis, and investigative work — whether that’s inside compliance or something a little further afield.
