Over thirty years experience with increasing responsibility for environmental management and technical support activities in the US and overseas. Twenty-five years of experience working with US Government programs in developing countries, including seventeen years as a supervisor of American and host country staff managing development programs. Leadership roles have encompassed strategic planning, partner relations, office operations, team building, personnel management, staff development, procurement planning, program design, project oversight, and monitoring and evaluation systems. Wide-ranging experience managing international development programming, including technical, administrative, and financial oversight for natural resource management, biodiversity conservation, counter-wildlife trafficking, forestry, climate change, clean energy, health, and agriculture projects. Proven engagement skills at multiple levels with high-level US Government officials, state government counterparts, host country government actors, heads of international non-profits, private sector partners, and donor colleagues to craft official positions, set strategic priorities, oversee partnerships, coordinate activities, manage programs, and collaborate on development interventions.
