About Daniela Heller

I am responsible for the directed acquisition and growth of our portfolio especially in Plastic Surgery, Oral- and Maxillofacial Surgery and Infectious Diseases. As an Editor, I am supporting authors and giving them the information they need to make their book a great success. I am an organization professional with profound experience in the publishing business. I have studied biological Anthropology and worked as a qualified nurse for approximately 12 years. Bridging between natural and social/cultural sciences in fundamental topics like child development, social behavior and sexuality was what motivated me the most during my studies. I focused on the different concepts of learning and knowledge acquisition in the context of human ontogenetic development and biological constraints. As I am still interested in these topics, I study psychology in my spare time and can very well imagine working in this field in the future. My favorite hobby is my Great Dane Carl, with whom I spend a lot of time in nature.
