About Daniela Jovel

I’m Daniela Jovel, a finance major and computer science minor at the University of Houston Bauer Honors College of Business, with a strong interest in investment banking and trading. Through my roles at Cafe Natalie Catering, Buttermilk Baby, and Texas Tradition Title, I’ve gained hands-on experience in client service, leadership, and adaptation in high-stakes situations. At school, I’m an Investment Analyst with Bayou Capital Group, where I pitch stocks, develop financial models, and sharpen my ability to present complex data clearly. I’m also proud of my first-place win in the Bauer Honors Business Plan Competition and third place win in PwC's Consulting Case Competition, where I tackled real-world business challenges using data-driven analysis and recommendations. I'm excited to transition these skills into the finance world! Driven to make an impact in the finance world, I’m especially interested in commodities and M&A.
