About Daniela Nemi

I take pride in my cultural awareness and my problem-solving skills to find solutions to global governance issues in foreign affairs. I am extremely passionate in aiding on the development of developing countries, thus I've interned and volunteered in Peru, Cuba, and Ecuador. My research interests focus on education, extreme poverty, the digital divide, democracy and human rights, and conflict resolution. Some of my research includes India's digital divide, Honduras' economic development, technology's success in the granting skills to underserved communities in the Philippines, and more. I am always looking for the next challenge to apply my critical thinking skills and see how I can collaborate with others ideas, so that we can create an impactful solution together! Over the past few years I have conducted and created a needs assessment, done in-field research on mapping of underserved communities, and produced a website demonstrating a toolkit and research findings on the human capabilities approach. My areas of interest include: Diplomacy and policy making, international development, conflict management, Latin American affairs (although I am fascinated with all regions), education, poverty alleviation initiates, languages, foreign affairs, political science, research, communications, and team building.
