About Danielle Carmody

A Merrimack College graduate, with a concentration in human performance and sports sciences. A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, earned through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. I have worked as an Exercise Physiologist, helping every day full time employees adapt to the physical demands of their jobs through the use of exercise. I worked as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning coach at the University of Central Florida, working especially close with the Women’s Softball, Women’s Volleyball, as well as both Men’s and Women’s Tennis teams. I have a burning passion for sports and would love to rehabilitate athletes return to doing what they love in a timely manner. I shadowed a local physical therapist in Cranston, Rhode Island for about 5 months. I loved the experience and felt as though I learned many critical skills such as critical thinking and learning how to use the ultrasound machine. I have worked as a Deli Clerk at Lou Umberto's Italian Kitchen in Cranston, Rhode Island for 4 years and have learned many other valuable skills like collaborative team work and handling transactions. I love traveling to Walt Disney World with my family and baking in my free time. I have dedicated most of my free time to playing fast pitch softball for most of my life so far and continue to enjoy being a part of a team atmosphere.
