About Danielle Ferrante

Danielle has worked with children and families diagnosed on the autism spectrum for 15+ years. This work includes, but is not limited to, creating, developing and implementing a social skills curriculum, staff and parent development, supervision and administrative responsibilities. Danielle is a TCI (Therapeutic Crisis Intervention) certified trainer for over ten years; training staff in autism, child development as well as TCI. Currently, administrative duties include the supervision of 26 Assistant Teachers and two Social Coordinators, creating school policies and protocols, and strategic planning. I believe strongly that all students have the ability and motivation to learn, and that it is the responsibility of educators to meet them at their level. All students have their own strengths and challenges, despite their diagnosis, and it is crucial to capitalize on those strengths and interests to support their individual needs. Building non-judgemental and positive relationships with students, while engaging with them throughout their day, fosters a bond that allows you to provide proactive, appropriate support.
