About Danielle Ferris

My name is Danielle Ferris, and I am a rising junior at Goldey Beacom College in Wilmington, DE. I am pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and with a Minor in Finance Management (grad. spring 2024), and an Associates Degree in Accounting (grad. spring 2023). I am also planning on pursuing a future Masters of Science in Finance (grad. spring 2025). I graduated from Newark Charter High School with Honor Roll in 2020. At NCHS, I have been highly involved in team sports and with my school's student council, honor society, and other clubs throughout my high school career. Upon being in the Honor Society in high school, I could participate in many community service trips such as meals on wheels and simply picking up garbage from the side of the roads. Today, in my free time, when I am not in class, I can happily go back to my old high school and help out in any way I can, whether with clubs or even as a substitute all day for all different grades. If you were to ask anyone about me, they would quickly tell you how amazing I am with other people and how hard I work to achieve my goals. When I was younger, I had a couple of jobs to keep me busy. Between the ages of 15 and 17, I worked hard and climbed the ladder at Dairy Queen and The Home Depot. I have recently been fortunate to become an Ocean Rescue Lifeguard for the Town of Fenwick. In my recent time at Goldey Beacom, I have achieved two different certifications, Excel and Access, and I have made the president's list three times. I have been searching for a Management internship for the summer of 2023. I want a real-world experience that can show me what I should expect in my future job, enabling me to put everything I have learned into action.
