About Danielle Flores

I am a dynamic, accomplished, and intellectually curious non-profit professional with experience in project management, copy writing, editing, museum exhibitions, strategic advancement, and fundraising. I have extensive experience with both historical and fine arts museum collections, exhibitions, and programming. My academic interests include world history, social memory and the politics of memorialization, film studies, cultural exchange, and 19th/20th century European art. In addition to my work experience, I have interned or volunteered for the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage, The National Museum of American History, and The Museum of Underwater Archaeology. Professional strengths: Grant management, project development and coordination, fundraising, donor stewardship, content writing, copy editing, exhibition and collections management, and building collaborative relationships.
