About Danielle Kays

Ms. Danielle N Kays has 22+ years in Corporate and Government Service comprehensive of Program Management, Leadership, Acquisition / Contracts, Operations and Management, Sales and Marketing, Budgeting and Finance, Logistics, and Engineering. She has worked with Industry providing PM, engineering services, hardware procurements, software development, and sustainment over the course of her career to include her last few years managing a major Cyber deployment contract and in Senior Business Development role for a strategic and growing Industry provider. She is professionally Certified in Acquisition Corps Level in both Program Management (PM); and Systems, Planning, Research, Development, and Engineering (SPRD & E). Ms. Kays civilian awards include the Army Civilian Achievement Medal and the Army Commendation Award for Civil Service. Prior to becoming a Department of the Army civilian, Ms Kays served as a regular Army Ordinance Officer commissioned in the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC. Ms Kays’ military awards include the Army Achievement Medal w 1 oak leaf cluster and the Army Commendation Medal with 2 oak leaf clusters. She earned the Airborne Parachutist badge and the Air Assault badge; she was certified as an Airborne Jumpmaster, an Air Assault Rappel Master and a Master Fitness Trainer. Ms. Kays earned and currently holds a spot on the TEAM USA Triathlon Team. Competed in the Olympic distanced World Championships in Cozumel and the Half Ironman World Championships in Australia in 2016 and will compete in the World Championships in the Netherlands in 2017. Ms. Kays is also a Certified Personal Trainer acquiring certification from American Council on Exercise (ACE). She is a Sports Conditioning Specialist and a Nutrition Specialist. She has taught Group Fitness Classes in the following areas: Step Aerobics; high impact aerobics and HIIT, Step, and pilates. She has coached and worked as a trainer fitness coach for elite Youth teams.
