About Darin McAuliffe

Darin brings thirty years of entrepreneurship to the table. He has co-founded, built, lead and sold several multi-million-dollar tech companies and a publishing company to a mix of public and private corporations and has worked as a Senior Executive with large corporations. He has raised debt, angel and venture capital in Silicon Valley for his firms. He is a founding partner in Topside Business Acceleration, a consultancy that accelerates emerging businesses and is often employed by Venture Capital firms to perform potential investment due diligence. He is also the founder of Ideate Squared, an advisory firm that consults organizations that help entrepreneurs. Ideate Squared develops entrepreneur education programs and content instrumental to ideation, innovation, and business acceleration. Darin is a co-founding member of The Idea Village, an internationally recognized non-profit entrepreneur “think tank” and accelerator in New Orleans. Darin has served on the board of the Louisiana Technology Council, the Tulane University Council of Entrepreneurship and acted as a mentor for the Technology Association of Georgia, TiE, the University of South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Morehouse College and many more. He currently holds several Board positions and is the Senior Adviser to Opportunity Hub in Atlanta. Darin is an internationally sought-after speaker on the topics of Entrepreneurship, Online Marketing, E-Commerce, revenue management, global electronic distribution, and growth strategies. In the last two years, he has spoken at over thirty events as well as taught "pitch lessons" to entrepreneurs during "Shark Tank" castings.
