About Darin Shorey

Before making a career change, I served as a CEO for non-profit organizations for over 3 decades. It was during that time that I developed skills in goal-setting, developing action plans that work, navigating resistance, and maintaining the winning path. My journey has allowed me to pass my experiences on to others and to help them become highly effective in both their personal and professional lives. When we are willing to focus on the ideas, attitudes, and behaviors that lead to becoming the best we can be, the sky is the limit! Helping people to achieve their future hopes and dreams is something that I've been able to accomplish through more than just my professional career. I also coached youth basketball from elementary through to high school. Team sports is a great place to learn about work ethic, camaraderie, having a winning attitude, and failing forward. I also served as a program director for a peer-led addiction recovery program that provided weekly 12-step meetings and a 10-month intensive where anyone with any type of hurt, hang-up or habit could find support. I married my teenage sweetheart over thirty years ago and we have 3 beautiful daughters. I enjoy riding my Harley, bass fishing, and playing guitar.
