About Darko Minic

I am an aviation safety and compliance professional with extensive experience in Safety Management Systems (SMS), FAA regulatory compliance, IOSA preparation, risk assessment, and ground operations leadership. Over the course of my career with UPS Airlines, I’ve had the privilege of leading complex safety initiatives, developing risk-based solutions, and partnering closely with regulators to ensure compliance and operational excellence. My work has spanned across: • SMS Implementation & Oversight – driving proactive hazard identification and risk management strategies. • FAA & IOSA Compliance – preparing organizations for audits, inspections, and certifications. • Ground Operations & Ramp Safety – improving processes for aircraft movements, marshalling, load/unload operations, and GSE safety. • Training & Change Management – designing programs that embed safety culture into daily operations. I’m now stepping into the next phase of my career—continuing my commitment to aviation safety and compliance while also focusing on my family. I am open to opportunities where I can apply my expertise, whether through consulting, advisory roles, or leadership positions that strengthen aviation safety systems and regulatory readiness. dminic88@gmail.com |(502) 866-1407
