Mr. Myers began his Navy career as an Operations Specialist performing CIC operations using the CV Naval Tactical Data System (NTDS). He performed console operations and conducted routine maintenance of computer, peripherals and Data Link-11 equipment. He served as an Amphibious Helicopter Assault (LHA) Tactical Data System instructor, Aegis CIC Team Trainer, Aegis Special Projects lead, CIC Officer and Staff Tactical Watch Officer. Key management skills include Systems Approach to Process Improvement (SAPI), Methods for Managing Quality and Team Skills and Concepts. While stationed with Commander Destroyer Squadron 22, Mr. Myers developed a Personnel Qualification Standard (PQS) program for all staff qualifications. After receiving his commission as a Chief Warrant Officer, Mr. Myers was the technical specialist in the operation, employment and application of the Aegis Combat System (ACS) on board the USS STOUT. As a Senior Systems Engineer for BCI, he provides engineering and technical support for various programs at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) and the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
