About Darren Dickson

Over my 20+ year career with AtkinsRéalis (formerly known as SNC-Lavalin Inc.), I have managed a wide variety of multidiscipline projects with successful delivery of small to large mandates for my clients. My wide breadth of project types has allowed me to generate a valuable understanding the markets we work in and the challenges our Project Managers face. My current role as Technical Director of Project Management is focused on ensuring that our Project Managers develop into leaders with exceptional skills in project delivery, utilizing the global best practices that have been developed at AtkinsRéalis. I work with members of the Environmental Practice leadership team, supporting technical quality, financials and forecasting, innovation and tools, auditing, proposals, and project delivery. In addition, I support the development of a career journey for Project Managers, helping them grow their careers so that they can gain opportunities to work on Major Projects within AtkinsRéalis. Areas of focus have included supporting organizational restructuring, strategy development and execution, internal education and mentoring, leadership development, operational improvements and interpreting and managing P & Ls.
