People are NOT your greatest asset.the RIGHT people are your greatest asset" I currently live in Perth, and work within the vocational education and training sector. I grew up in Blackwater, and went to high school at St Brendans College Yeppoon, where I was awarded dux of Business studies. After a brief light vehicle mechanical career, I commenced work in the coal mining industry, where I found a home for 20 yrs. I worked both in the Bowen Basin and Hunter Valley Regions. I began at the face underground, and progressed into various leadership and managerial roles. I finalised my coal career as a NSW Project Co-Ordinator. I commenced training in the mines in 2001, and in 2010, transitioned over to full time trainer assessor, where I began professionally delivering nationally accredited WHS courses, leadership courses, mine inductions, supervisor training, machinery tickets and VOC's for various RTO's. My training career has taken me all over Australia and abroad to Papua New Guinea. I have a good attention to detail, valuable industry experience, and I pride myself on getting the best out of my students. I am self-motivated, self-disciplined, and have a strong safety focus which I formalized by completing my Cert IV in Work Health Safety. I also hold a Diploma in Business Management which has helped with running three successful personal business ventures.
