With a lifelong dedication to quality policing, I have developed versatility in highly complex operational environments tasked with community protection and engagement. Due to my comprehensive understanding of police work and breadth of practical experience, I am able to lead effective and efficient teams across organisational levels. I particularly enjoy frontline roles with substantive interaction between internal and external stakeholders and embrace opportunities to coach and mentor staff. Proud of my team building record, I have led and developed large teams of staff across operations and administration. With a long standing career as Inspector in Queensland Police Service, I am committed to ongoing self-development with a Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management Major), continuous study of Bachelor of Laws, and more recently, I completed a Diploma of Life Coaching and Graduate Certificate in Applied Policing Studies. Committed to demonstrating authenticity and professionalism, I am inspired by opportunities to share skills and knowledge with colleagues, team members and inter-governmental partners. Benefiting from working closely with a number of coaches and mentors myself, in 2019 I commenced ‘Coaching Development Aus’, focusing on professional and personal coaching of individuals and groups. As a coach and mentor, I work with clients to create an effective future plan, establish a position of influence in the workplace, and to achieve career ambitions. A highly resilient person, I have a demonstrated commitment to ongoing self-improvement with a focus on acquiring skills to lead and support others in their pursuit of learning opportunities and career goals. I am highly motivated to embrace my next challenge with the QPS and continue to contribute to the future of quality service provision.
