About Darren Wang

I was a seven-year-old kid staring into the eyes of this behemoth orc riding a wolf during a tour of my uncles work at blizzard; All I could feel was an overwhelming need to be there. I wanted to create worlds unbeknownst that will inspire the next generation of game developers, so I began immersing myself in character and game design and this evolved into indie game development, 3D modeling and graphics, and videogame entrepreneurship. This passion led me to also learn more about business and entrepreneurship as I found myself gravitating to incubator or accelerator programs. Eventually, I participated in business accelerators and simulators at renowned schools such as Stanford, UCR, and MIT. As time went on, my passion grew and I eventually started branching out into programming and software engineering and majored in computer science at UC Berkeley. I look forward to where this passion brings me next, may it be games or software engineering. I am happy for the drive it gave me to continue moving forward and know there is so much more for me to learn.
