My 16 years’ experience in mining industry started as junior geologist in one of highest-grade goldmine in the world (Gosowong goldmine) working for Newcrest Mining Limited. I spent 14 years in the mine working as exploration/resource development geologist, my last position in the mine was as Exploration Superintendent, responsible to design & managing the exploration program in Gosowong Goldmine and also as a back-to-back to geology manager to manage both exploration and mine geologist. In the last 2 years as a leader of exploration team, the mine is able to grow the reserve by average of +160Koz/year (increasing from 5 years average +120Koz/Year) with limited exploration budget, in very heavy drilled and mature ground of exploration. In the last 2 years, I was move to the head office of Indotan Group in charge for business development of the group by reviewing many potential projects and expanding the business of the group, while also being a technical advisor to the board and directors. During this time, I was the team member of a strategic takeover of Petrosea tbk by Indotan Group. My strengths are in technical geological knowledge. I have been involved in the “evolution” of Gosowong Exploration & Geology Model, working with world class researcher and experts in geology, geochemistry, alteration, structural and geophysics. I also fluent in 3D mining software, in charge to deliver the 3D geology model to be use in resource modelling (LeapFrog & Micromine) and managing a comprehensive geology, geochemistry and geophysics 3D model of Gosowong goldfields for better understanding on the geology. I have been writing and presenting a few geology papers in some geology or mining conferences as well as sharing with my teammates. I also start to shape up my business and financial skills in my current role as business development manager. I am an ingenious thinker and long-range planner, strong will, able to deal with complex problems, enjoys a challenge and always focus on delivering results.
