About Dave S.

A results-focused organizational development and senior strategic human resources business partner with over 20 years of progressive generalist and leadership experience within the HR and L&D function. Expertise includes organizational consulting, employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, collective bargaining contracts, curriculum design, training, change leadership, management coaching, HRIS systems implementations, staff training and policy administration. I have enjoyed working in both large public companies and smaller, private organizations both as an individual contributor and as a people or process manager. My primary focus is to develop and grow a strategic partnership with the business functions I support and overall organization to drive results which harmonize with and support business objectives while ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of strategic human resource solutions. I accomplish this through regular proactive and ongoing connection with the business as well as maintaining an active engagement within the communities in which we operate. These relationships enable me to support our employee development efforts and assist in building a diverse top-talent pipeline for future employee resource needs. In addition to holding a B.S. in Human Resources and Industrial Relations and a M.A. in Education Administration, I am also certified in conflict mediation, targeted selection, business process excellence, Myers-Briggs Administration and Assessment (MBTI), Inside/OUT (GROW) development, and diversity, inclusion, and engagement strategies. I also maintain an active membership in several professional, volunteer, and civic organizations.
