Specific competencies include economic analysis and research, monitoring and evaluation, resource mobilization, UN global and country-level representation, content development and agenda-setting, transition planning, private and public sector partnership development, advocacy, networking, and civil society capacity building. Significant experience working for multilateral agencies including 13 years with UNAIDS and 20 years with civil society, supporting social movement building and equitable access to health care. Led UN inter-agency work on HIV-sensitive social protection, ensuring global commitments to country-level responses, providing authoritative guidance and support to senior UN and government leaders on HIV and social protection, including in the Asia Pacific, East and Southern Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, North Africa, West and Central Africa, and Western and Eastern Europe. Strong commitment to health equity, government and civil society partnerships, human rights, inclusive social protection, cash transfers, poverty alleviation, and evidence-based public policy programming. Conducted research on socioeconomic inequalities in cervical pre-cancer cancer screening and access to HIV treatment, quality of life of people living with HIV, disability, adolescent health, and the sustainable development goals.
