Extensive leveraged finance experience, having worked on numerous LBOs, acquisitions, refinancings, div recaps, and workouts/restructurings across consumer goods, auto, food service, healthcare, and TMT verticals. Experience in managing deal teams and driving transactions through internal hurdles (credit risk, legal, and investment committee) while supporting senior bankers on external processes (management calls, QoE diligence, and documentation), to best prepare the investment memo for approval. Independently managed a dynamic portfolio of Term Loan Bs and private credit/direct lending investments, including forming relationships with management teams, working on accretive transactions (incrementals, tuck-ins, etc), buying and selling on the secondary market when opportune, and supporting assets during turbulence/finding comprehensive solutions (amendments, covenant relief etc.). Committed to building out leveraged finance/investment platforms, having trained dozens of associates/analysts/interns, actively reworking ING's portfolio review processes, and holding the mandate on ING's LBO model (includes pioneering a junior company-wide financial modelling training).
