I spent 17 years traveling the country working with firms like Citigroup, Legg Mason and Deutsche. I've met with thousands of advisors, private equity managers, mutual fund managers, hedge fund managers and everything in-between. There isn't a strategy I haven't seen or a repackaged idea I haven't noticed. I've been a pilot, software developer, sales rep, promotional director, event coordinator, machinist, general contractor, arborist assistant, football coach and botanical extractor. I've applied for 2 patents, represented myself in court, created private placements under regulation D. I've exposed 2 lawyers for malpractice, written screenplays, shot a movie, flew drones for aerial photography before they manufactured them and caddied on the PGA Tour never missing a cut. There is almost nothing I haven't tried at least once. But no, I haven't tried what you're thinking. I have a special set of skills that only can be acquired through being alive 45 years or more. I can see the imposter through the crowd, but that means the imposter can also see me. I only charge what is fair and I only criticize when there is no other viable route to solve the problem. My ego death took place on a snow day and it's been sunny every day since. I believe in mentoring kids so they can become confident moral decent human beings and if I could I would rescue every dog in the world from horrible selfish people. And lastly, when they tell you that you're going to fail, keep doing what you're doing it usually means your on track.
