About David Hood

For 30 years, God gifted me with the ability to successfully lead departments in several hospitals that provided retail, patient and conference center food services. My professional and personal outlook and objectives have always centered on serving. As a hospital department head, I believed that I was called to not only serve my facility administration and our patients and visitors, but also my staff by providing them with an environment in which they would succeed. We met our budget objectives, increased retail participation and satisfaction, and had generally low staff turnover rates. My current and future objectives are first and foremost to serve my Lord Jesus Christ in my current role as a Senior Pastor at Fresh Harvest Assembly of God. Secondly, my intent is to continue learning and developing my various skills, and to watch for opportunities to put them to work, whether as a professional or in volunteer positions. Ultimately, my goal is to cultivate the character and grace of Jesus in my life, so that through professional effectiveness and excellence, I will continue to represent Him well, even well beyond normal retirement age.
