About David Huylebroeck

At Climate Express, I am coordinator which means that I facilitate meetings, do strategic planning for the long-run and make actions happen. besides that I'm responsible for the well-being, guiding and supporting our only staff worker. As a teamleader I’m also in charge of the intake interviews with new volunteers, helping them find a suitable place within the organization and organizing weekends and teambuildings for our beloved volunteers. I am an environmentalist at heart, but I also have years of experience as a warehouse and logistics officer at the audio-visual company City Sounds Rent (CSR) in Ghent where I have been employed since 2003 (with a six year break for my studies). I started out in the field, in charge of the AV material at all kinds of events (not just for City Sounds, but as a volunteer too, for DOK Gent, vzw cirQ, Superkoe Festival and some others) and then moved on to the CSR warehouse, where - among other things - I am responsible for administration, project management, stock and orders management, machine repair and customer communication. I’m at my very best when I need to solve problems, interact with customers and team members, deal with stress or when I need to mind important details. I’m very comfortable using software like Excel, Numbers, Word, Pages, Rentman and a fast learner when it comes to mastering new tools.
