I am a seasoned network engineer and manager with 25+ years of design leadership and infrastructure development experience in the data communications sector. Recognized for demonstrating a natural aptitude for personnel management, as well as for creating project proposals and planning hardware installations, I have a verifiable history of contributing directly to company growth and expansion throughout my career. Professional focal points include network architecture, forecasting, recruiting & hiring, data center design, junior staff development, infrastructure development, helpdesk support, technology solutions, cross-functional team leadership, performance assessment, client relationship management, and project management. Delivering superior administration on the latter areas of expertise requires utilization of effective communication skills, negotiation skills, as well as systems analysis, and resource management to support efficiency and maximum returns. Currently, I am the Manager with Pearson Digital Workplace Services. Under my leadership, I oversee support, maintenance, architecture, security, implementation, and improvements of the entire data infrastructure. I also conduct personnel interviews and head recruiting, coaching, training, and terminations. In addition, I liaise with senior leadership, peer engineers, and financial teams to ensure the company’s network services support structure is driving the business forward with minimal expenditures. In my career I have designed 3 data centers, installed from scratch into 3 colocation data centers, and installed 150+ corporate office networks.
