Here’s some information about how I work: You may be aware that the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves often limit us – twisting our self-image, stifling relationships, strangling creativity. But you don’t have to be a victim of your stories. My progressive definition of story (as opposed to narrative) provides a sophisticated understanding of your story’s underlying structure, enabling you to take control of yourself and the situation from inside the story. You can organically change your role, the direction of the story, and create an effective positive impact. Here’s a bit more about me: As a talent and literary agent and executive in Hollywood and New York, I worked with writers, directors and other creatives involved in motion pictures, television, theatre and books – often coaching them through blocks to find inventive solutions and meet deadlines. In addition, I have 20+ years coaching, managing, and mediating companies, executives, individuals, and groups to creatively solve complex and consequential, large value, multi-party, high pressure situations requiring strategic vision, trust building, and negotiation expertise. As a consultant, I developed and wrote organizational and business plans that successfully increased revenues and raised millions of dollars. With full executive authority, I turned-around 25 media projects valued at $3M to $35M that were on the verge of failure. My legal training plays a role in supporting clients, so they can better assess situations and outcomes, expand opportunities, and evaluate risks from multiple perspectives. I am also a Certified CINERGY Conflict Management Coach with 20+ years as a mediator. My expertise regarding causes, types, and strategies to prevent and resolve conflict is on display in articles and a book, FREE YOURSELF FROM CONFLICT (March 2021).
