About David Schummer

I am an undergraduate Information Systems student in the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida. I am currently looking for challenging opportunities in the information systems sector that put my time management and leadership abilities to the test. As a hardworking and passionate student, I have learned that integrity, teamwork, and motivation are necessary for any professional environment, and I look forward to building upon my skills in those areas. I exemplify this through my study of three unique languages, which will help me interact with a diverse set of clients in the workplace. Through my past experiences, especially tutoring younger students, I have gained a deep appreciation for mentorship and growth in interpersonal skills. I am very interested in pursuing a career in operations management and supply chain logistics because of the competitive and dynamic nature of the industry. I am always open to internship opportunities and would love to connect to gain insightful knowledge and explore how my skills could contribute to your company's success. In the future, I aspire to start my own business and leverage the leadership skills I have developed during my time in college and the corporate workplace to efficiently and responsibly manage my team. Outside of academics, I am passionate about cars, weightlifting, and golf. These help me balance my personal and work life and connect with family, friends, and peers more deeply. I am expected to graduate in May of 2027 from the Warrington College of Business. I am open to networking and would love to connect.
