About David Shepard

I coach financial services and technology business executives - especially those in product development or who are driving major process changes – by providing insights into their talents, behaviors, values, motivations, and clarity of decision making. I help them identify their purpose and achieve their personal and professional goals, while helping them select and inspire their team. With over 30 years working in consulting firms and multi-national financial services companies, in which I drove innovative, transformational approaches to new product development and work, including introducing agile and lean development practices, I understand the complexities, challenges, and rewards of executive leaders at companies of all sizes and growth stages. I bring empathy, a sense of humor, and a passionate belief in my clients’ full potential, and focus on building self-knowledge and awareness so that my clients can leverage their strengths and values, develop new behaviors, and attain lasting transformational change for themselves and their organizations. I also coach teams at all levels - including diverse, globally dispersed and work-from-home teams - applying intelligence and curiosity to help teams find their shared purpose and build trust, performance, capacity, and resilience. I am an expert at using TTI Success Insights suite of psychometric assessments (Axiology, DISC, Driving Forces, Competencies, Emotional IQ, e.g.) to help executives and teams identify, leverage, and develop their strengths, communication styles, and talents. I also combine these assessments with a proprietary job benchmarking and interview process to help companies improve the accuracy of their hiring process and reduce turnover, successfully onboard and develop professional staff, and perform succession planning.
