About David Tittle

I am Head of Design Advice at Design South East. We manage part of the national design review service and design support services as well as events and other initiatives to promote design quality. Together with other similar organisations we offer an England-wide service as part of the Design Network. I was previously Chief Executive at MADE, the built environment centre g the West Midlands. Before that I was a director of R99, managing a series of urban design training programmes for national agencies and local authorities, as well as other consultancy and project management work on community planning and social enterprise. I have been working in the built environment since 2002 when I was at the Civic Trust. Before that I worked in the field of business development (from small social enterprises to high technology university spin-outs). Specialties: Project management, training, communication and advocacy, urban design, built environment quality, business planning.
