About David Torkelson

My goal is help individuals and organizations define and achieve their goals through the most cost effective and tailored ways to organize their professional experience and seek their goals effectively. As a child first clutching a crayon, I realized the importance of relaying symbols and shapes effectively to convey messages. Through the years, thousands of pencils dulled as my mind and skills sharpened. I was introduced through 'paint' to a world of Graphic Design and computers. Selling and exchange of ideas made the world go around. Mutual benefit and gain was good for all. It's getting that message and Idea OUT THERE that's complex to most individuals, and also 'where did it come from?' and 'How do I get more of this business faster? I was immersed in customer service and sales through the film, food service and hospitality industry to fund my continuing education put me through millions of effective sales transactions, and offered a diverse training in communication with people from all walks of life. Academia at Tulsa Community College, with an associates degree in Liberal Arts, onward to a Bachelor's Degree of Arts in Advertising and Sales at Oklahoma State University, pursuing minor distinctions in Marketing and Business, expanded my horizons, while continuing real world experience in the Graphic Design Art Department of a Million-Dollar Silkscreening, Sandblasting, and Embroidery Business. All that, and I performed 'Design Editor' duties at the Daily O'Collegian Daily Newspaper at the college a few nights a week, organizing all elements under deadline for mass distribution across Galveston. From all this I learned how to create and prepare polished material, information and ideas in an effective way. I have handled hundreds of accounts on many levels with a great deal of success on island and globally online.
